On January 1st 2014, my family stayed in this hotel. As I was laying on the couch watching tv, out of the corner of my eye I saw a bug crawling towards me. I immediately jumped up and put in in an empty Gatorade bottle. I suspected it was a bed bug. I alerted my husband, I couldn't sleep the whole night. In the morning we packed out things, took the bottle to the desk to show them what I had caught. The girl said she would let the manager know.
All of our clothing is in my car, and will
wash everything. This is our last stay at the Wilderness On the Lake.
I will wait to see if I get any kind of call, but seriously doubt it.
Don't stay at Wilderness on the Lake unless you want bed bugs.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom condo. Ended up with NASTY bed bugs. If the Dells wants proof my mom should have saved the bed bug her Dr. pulled out of her EAR…it cost my parents over a thousand dollars to de-bug their HOME

Wonderful apartment full of bed bugs!
My family had high hopes for this hotel. We brought our 2 daughters here for the Memorial Day weekend and I spent the 1st morning at the Urgent Care center!
I was informed that if I couldn't catch any of the bugs, then I can't registar a complaint. Well, my numerous bites are the proof!
It has been 2 weeks and I am still fighting the itch!
WE WILL NOT RETURN!

I stayed in a 2 bedroom condo on 6/9/12 and came home with bedbugs. I phoned the Wilderness and spoke with a girl named Noah who said she would report this to Ryan (the General Manager) I never recieved a call. I then called the resort again to remind them of the seriousness of my allegation and spoke with Patrick who "appeared" to seem concerned but dismissed the urgency to check this room before someone else came home with a problem. As I expected, The following night I received a call from Pa
trick stating that they checked the room (72 hours later)and he was happy to inform me that there were no bedbugs.I asked to pay for a nights stay in that same room and told him I would not sleep in it so he could rent it to someone else if he would like. I asked to inspect the room myself as I had purchased a device that checks for bedbugs and he was unable to confirm that he could promise me that room even if it was a week before my stay.DO NOT STAY HERE!!
