We stayed at the Comfort Suites Madison West prior to UW Madison winter graduation on December 18, 2021. After checking in our teenage daughters found bedbugs in their bed in room 3017.
When checking out the manager offered us a refund (which we did not request) if bedbugs were found by the exterminator. We finally received a report on December 31 from Eliminator Pest Control with an address in Cross Plains, WI. The email referenced another room but the invoice referenced the correct room, 30
17. The invoice says that no bugs were found.
Our concern is that the bedbugs were clearly present in our room and possibly others as the email referenced a different room and that the exterminator or management performed an inadequate inspection.
I would avoid this hotel at all costs until the facility is thoroughly treated for bugs.

Found 2 bedbugs on bed in room 1003--put them in ziploc bag and gave to front desk clerk. Had to find new room in hotel that night; up till 3 to 4 in am cleaning belongings--very upsetting. Had 1 call back from manager, but not answering phone since. and no info on bugs or if reports filed by hotel. many of mattresses in hotel that we checked stained.
