Rented the last available room. Upon arrival did a check and noticed the beds had bed bug sheets on them. I assumed it was precaution. I pulled back two sheet corners and did a crappy job at check. As I thought we were ok. Woke up to my two sons complaining that a mosquito bit them. There was no way they got bit by a mosquito so I immediately started looking at the bed. I then found blood spots on the one bed and found two bed bugs crawling on the other bed. We then put them in a bag and brought
them to the desk clerk. He threw them away and said he would text the manger. We demanded our money back. And told him he needed to do something about the issue. Went back to our room and continued to look at the beds. Along the zipper of the mattress cover were shells of bed bugs. We then bagged our stuff and left the hotel. Went to the laundry mat and dryer all of our belongings that were in the room. While at the laundry mat the manager of the hotel called my husband and agreed to reimbursing our money. My husband said that they should really take care of the problem because they have had them for sometime if there are shells on the bed. He had said they haven’t had a issue in that room but have in others. We do not believe him. The day we checked in was July 3 and checked out July 4.
