I recently stayed here last week of November 7-10th 2019. On the 6th floor.
Much to my surprise while laying in bed I noticed something crawling across the sheet. I flicked it off in a panic and then a few moments later, again I saw something crawling across the pillow. Immediately I knew what it was (BED BUGS) and I got up and called guest services. I saw two on top of the bed that night and one was tiny and the other was end stage adult size. Meaning that there is a massive infestation to hav

e that broad of a life cycle going on.

Within a few minutes they had a team of two housekeeping women up there to catch one. She did, in a plastic baggy and they left.

They offered to move me rooms - down the hall a bit. That was it. And this is where my frustration lies. I slept in the bathtub because I was mortified of the bugs despite being moved. (I should have gone to another hotel that night but it was already near 11:30 and I was exhausted and beside myself to even have to check another mattress)

1. Any Bed Bugs that were in that room were likely on my belongings and I was now toting them to a potentially non-infested room. (or maybe it already was, who knows)
2. Not a single offer to launder my belongings - I now have to carry them with me on a plane and to my home. In which I stripped down to my birthday suit and left everything outside to spray with Bifin before going into my home. (I don't want those things)
3. No compensation or anything remotely of the sorts for my stay.

This was an utterly disgusting and filthy experience and I will never stay here again.

For those that are curious I was in room 604 and moved to 634.

Stayed there in Dec 2007 in a handicapped room. Not a lot known about bedbugs then so I assumed I had picked up fleas. Bites all over from the knees down--didn't act like flea bites so looked them up and they were bedbugs.

I recently stayed at the atlantis in late January 2011 and had a few extra guests in my room. AND to top it off one of them came home with me and bit my feet and ankles.

I had to call an exterminator to make sure we didnt get a full blown infestation. thanks atlantis.

I stayed during the week of July 26, 2010 in room 1433. When I was walking barefoot in the room, I noticed that I was picking up visible dirt on my feet.

When I woke up the next day, I noticed that I had bug bites on my legs. Even after the sheets were replaced, I still got bug-bites. I showed the bug-bites on my legs to 2 housekeeping supervisor.

I finally had to complain to their management to get any action.

They moved me to another room, and "comped" me for my resort fees.
