My husband and I checked into Bally"s in Las Vegas on Tuesday the 24th of September. We had a late check in and was so tired. Within an hour I was attacked by brown bugs. My husband killed one. I turned the bed back and there was another one. I called the desk they sent security to speak to us to get a report. I took photos of the bite on my left arm and pictures of the bug. I lift the pad and found much evidence of bug drainage on the mattress pad. I have never experienced this before. Managem

ent moved us to another room but showed little concern for the invasion of my skin and risk for infection . Management said the bug was given to housekeeping then sent to ecolab where it was determined to be negative. They could not give me a copy. I will go to my MD . They said I should call risk management on Monday
I plan to do that as well as the health department if they do not share my concerns.
Please be careful at Ballys Las Vegas they have bugs and management does not care......

On the last morning of our stay in April 2013 my wife found a live bed bug in the shower just after showering. We think it was in the towel that was delivered the day prior. It is scary to know that the room did not appear to have bed bugs yet the hotel staff was spreading them. How do they end up on a "clean" towel? I immediately put it in a glass and called the front desk. They had me take it to security and fill out a basic report. Luckily I did not bring any of them home. I did tell them th

ey would be responsible for fumigation if I had.

My boyfriend and I stayed four nights at Bally's Las Vegas (June 28-July 2, 2013) and, over this period, I incurred over 20 beg bug bites distributed from my feet to my face.

We were there with a group of 14 people and at least two others were getting similar bites on different parts of their body. Our rooms were distributed across the North Tower (newer tower) and were quite far from each other. We initially gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt as we had been attending pool parties and s

pending a lot of time outdoors so assumed that the bites could be from pool bugs, spiders or potential heat rash. Despite sleeping in the same bed, my boyfriend did not seem to have any bites or skin irritation which also made us consider other sources for my bites.

On our fourth night at about 3am, we witnessed 2 small red bugs run across my boyfriends body and subsequently found more near the head of the bed on top of the fitted sheet.

We immediately trapped two bugs as proof and called the front desk. They sent an inspection agent to look at my bites and at the bugs themselves. He provided some 1% hydrocortisone gel to apply to my bites and said that, upon 'official inspection' and confirmation by an outside company, we would be contacted and informed of any compensatory measures to follow.

In the meantime, we were switched to a new room one floor below. Given that this was obviously a hotel-wide problem since it affected multiple members of our group, we opted to stay out of the room regardless of the room change. Hotel management was extremely unsympathetic and unhelpful, simply saying that they could not confirm the presence of bed bugs until it was 'officially inspected' despite the fact that their initial inspection agent personally saw the bugs and bites. Instead of reacting with embarrassment and empathy, he questioned our honesty about seeing the bugs ourselves.

Around 11:00am, we were contacted by the Claims Consultant at
Cannon Cochran Management Services (an outside company who manages all hotel complaints/incidents) and told that our room did in fact test positive for bed bug activity' and that they would 'attempt to resolve any damages or expenses that we have or will incur' as a result.

My husband and I just stayed at the Ballys resort. I know that it’s not by far the nicest resort on the strip but they had a great deal going on so we figured what the heck. We stayed in the deluxe room. When we checked in the room looked fine, dated but still ok. Well, later that night when we were asleep in bed I heard a munching sound. So I turned the light next to the bed on and saw a GAINT RAT eating our beef jerky out of our suitcases. I screamed so loud my husband woke up and he started

to scream. We grabbed our robes and immediately went downstairs to the manager. So its around two o’clock in the morning and we told the front desk girl about the rat and wanted to speak to a manager, she informed us that there was no manager available and we would have to wait till tomorrow. After much screaming and arguing we finally got a room change and an upgrade to their suite. After we woke and ate breakfast we went back to speak with the manager. We explained the situation and she was very nice and apologetic, she then continued to tell us that they have rodent problem that they are currently addressing (gross). She ended up comping us for the room(I think her name was Mary). The next morning as we were packing up our stuff I noticed small red bumps on mine and my husband’s legs. We immediately thought OMG bed bugs. So we ripped off all the sheets and sure enough we found five small little dark colored bugs in the mattress. The second we saw that we grabbed our stuff and got the hell out of there. We talk to others that were in the elevator on the way down and they had the same problem and they were on the way down to speak with management about bed bugs too. This hotel is so nasty.

I stayed at Bally's in las Vegas June 26-June 29th 2012 room 1894. That was not the room I was first assigned but I was asked if I wanted an upgrade for 20.00 a night. If that was an upgrade I would hate to see what I would have been in. I am paranoid about bugs and diseases etc so I checked the mattress and tables etc when I arrived and did not see anything...(I arrived at 8pm) so it was dark in the room...anyways, I did not itch until I got home ...and there were about 20 bites on one leg and

maybe 5-6 on other leg and they itch like crazy. They are not allergic reaction type of rashes..these look like bites from a bug and I have never ever had a bed bug bite in my life (lived in my current apartment for over a year now so its not from my apartment). Funny how I got them coming home from Bally's! because I never caught a bug I cant really go to court about it...but please...be careful at the hotels you stay in..and if you can..stay with friends or relatives instead while traveling...I heard these bites can stay on you for weeks...and I pray I did not bring any home or it will cost me a fortune to get rid of them..thank BAlly's! I know where I will never be staying again

On 6/3/12 my husband woke up to something crawling on his face. He got up and turned on light and found a small black bug on the bed and then several little reg bugs around head of bed and pillow. We called the front desk and they sent security to take a report. The security person took samples of the bugs and made a comment that they did look like their bed bugs. What every that means! The front desk manager was not very helpful nor customer service oriented. I had to ask him for another

room. He then said he would get us another room assigned and call us back with the information. I called him because I had not received a call. He said he left a message giving me information. No message. When we got our new room (not clean) there was a message from the manager about the room assignment! Not pleased with the way the whole situation was handled. I was told I would hear from risk management on their findings. I brought a couple of the bugs to send to the lab for my own proof.

I just returned from my stay at Ballys. We normally chose Ballys because of the location and their customer service. I'm sad to report that I have bites on both of my feet and hope I didn't bring them home with me. I stayed there between 8/12 and 8/16 in room 1241 in the North Tower.

8/02/2011 thru 8/06/2011
We stayed at Bally's for the first time on this trip to Vegas. Normally we stay at MUCH nicer hotels, like Venetian or Mandalay Bay. We knew upon walking in this was not a great idea. From the day after we got there, my head began to itch. I tried to brush it off as the dry heat, or the new shampoo I used. NOT the case. My the third day, I had red bites all over my head and neck, and even a few elsewhere. I was totally freaked out. I will never ever stay there a

gain! I am STILL suffering the bites.

We stayed for one night on July 25th, 2011. My daughter and son received bites (they slept in the same bed). I did check for bed bugs when we entered the room simply by lifting the corners of the sheets and checking the mattress. I know now that this is not sufficient since they are very good at hiding during the day.
