Things have not changed. We stayed on September 24th, just for the night, and my wife was bitten all over by bed bugs. We stayed in the Roadrunner wing of the hotel. My wife went to the doctor and was unable to participate in several professional meetings because of the bites on her face, among other places.

Stayed here February 2015 at the Roadrunner section and got biten by bed bugs.

This happened in 2007. Stovepipe Wells at the time was managed by Xanterra for the National Park Service. It is the only motel around that part of the park. The room we were in was completely infested by bed bugs. We found them quite easily in the seams of the mattress and when I pulled up the coverlet several just fell onto the sheet. I collected one in a ziploc plastic bag and showed it to the front desk. They were very accommodating and tried to give us another room, but we left Death V

alley in the middle of the night, so horrified by what we saw. I hope things have changed.
