Three apartments on the top floor of The Consulate Apartments at 1619 Belmont Avenue, were found to be infested with bedbugs in April 2010. The building manager's apartment on the first floor was also infested, most likely from entering the other three apartments in response to the matter. The property management company, Cornell and Associates, hired an exterminator to have all common areas and every apartment in the building inspected.
