I had a bedbug infestation in my unit on the 4th floor. Initially the building manager insisted on using a cedarcide fogger which will not work for bedbugs. I am going through professional chemical treatment. It is continuing to be a long and drawn out process. I have cleaned out and thrown out a lot of items from under and around my bed, and clothing as well.

In November 2010, the landlord of Emerald Arms informed us that one of the apartments was infested with bedbugs. She said that the tenant was very thorough about cleaning and steaming, and a pest inspector treated the apartment, as well as all of the adjacent apartments. I live in one of the adjacent apartments, and so far (knocking on wood) there have been no signs of them in my place.
