BB Victim on 02/08/2012
We have been experiencing bug bites for about a month now. We advised the apartment and they've sent pest control to spray the apt, even sent a "bed bug Expert" to check it out but did not find anything. I recently found a couple of insects which resembled bed bugs, I have since contacted the complex and they will take care of the issue. The problem is, they want to make us pay for this!! This is a problem that obviously existed prior to me living in this apt... Been living at this complex for 2
months, should have known better when they asked us to sign a bed bug consent form along with our lease... Bed Bug infestation at this complex!! Beware people!!

We moved in on April 15, 2010. Within 1.5 weeks of moving in, I was getting bitten by bed bugs. It turns out that management had moved us into an apartment that shared a wall with a VERY active bed bug population!! Management never took responsibility for this gross negligence, as the apartment NEVER should not have been available until the neighbor's bed bug infestation was over. Instead, they wanted our money and for us to be locked into a 1 year lease. While they did spray our apartment 2x, t
hey offered us no recompense for the rest of our troubles (washing all of our belongings, wrapping all of our non-washables in trash bags, destroying our 2 beds, etc). We were like transients living out of trash bags for a month! It ALL could have been avoided had they not moved us into this apartment.
