My daughter woke up this morning (8-26-09) with 2 large round red welts on her leg. i checked her bed and bedding for any kind of bugs. i did not find any in her room. later in the day i was washing dishes in the kitchen and found a strange looking bug that i had never seen before. i killed it and saved it for identification. after googling pictures of all types of bugs, i found an exact match for the bug that i found. it was a bed bug. my husband turned the bedrooms upside down searching for an
y sign of bed bug infestation. so far, we haven't found any evidence of infestation. but there is no doubt that the bug i found was a bed bug. and the bites on my daughters leg are consistent with those of bed bugs. we are still going to take precautions.
