i woke up one day and i noticed all sorts of bumps and welt like marks that soon started to come more frequent i had made the staff aware quite frequently but they never complied and were extremely difficult about it they refused to acknowledge the reports... one even made a comment about me burning myself... the staff here are extremely ignorant and uneducated when it comes to hazards in general and are completely disrespectful in all aspects about dealing with ppl who have no choice but to be
in a place like that... they have progressed all over and i feel complaining to them is pointless as it was before... i have known when other s have had the problem as they refuse to stop it form coming into the building... they are well aware it being all over the building... the re infestation aspect is only half legit, more so along the lines of them not stopping the ones who are responsible for bringing them back in only so they don t have to get the ppl s rooms fumigated who have them come in to their rooms.. i have lived there before it was a problem then and it s growing ever so rapidly and ppl who are clean are getting it as well...

I don't know where the other are getting there information regarding never getting professionals in to treat. I work here and have coordinated over 20 'appointments' with professional pest control companies in the last 2 months alone. As a homeless shelter - bedbugs are a constant problem being brought in by the people we serve.
As for controlling them - we do regular room checks and treatments - we spend hundreds weekly on professional services.
Unfortunately - many of our tenants fail to f
ollow instructions to prevent a re-infestation and we are back at square one.
I would encourage anyone living here to come to the staff at the first sign(s) - and we will address the issue promptly - otherwise you will have to wait until we do the next round of 'room checks' - which could give them a chance to multiply and make our job harder.

I wolk up on day with a very bad itch and figured it was nothing and now its turned out to be about 4 Welts and bites... I know at this point I can not control it... ive been living here for about 6 years and I have known when other People have had them and even my nebour had em but they never bothered me cause i got a bed that they dont usually like but now theyre in my place... I cant sleep at night... and on top of it We now have Mice... I just caught one tonight... so Im very upset... I got
my firt bite 2 weeks ago and now ive got about 5 bites Im gonna get some spray but it wont last for long... I feel that complaining at this point to the Landlord is useless cause as you said its been and on and off again thing for about 2-4 years and I think at this point its time to complain to the rentals men about the bugs and the Mice and get the method of control forced upon them... cause if its not being profestionaly done then whatever theyr doing is useless if they keep coming back....
