In October, 2011, I found a bug crawling on my apartment floor, close to the door to the hallway. I killed it and looked it up. It was a bedbug. I was getting bites once a month, and at first thought it was hives. To take a precaution, I bought diatomaceous earth and dusted the baseboards, wooden furniature including my headboard, and put tin pans under each bedpost with the powder early in January.
