Seen dumped furniture with bedbugs in the garage many times. The lastest-janitor-guy (new janitor almost every year)does not even bother to put the stuff outside of the building, he leaves it all there for the bugs to go crawling around and get into cars and back up into the rest of the building. He does not live here so not his problem.

The garage itself is a scary place where it's not uncommon to find people hanging out doing drugs (garage door often left open all night long, s

tuck in the open position). There was a roof patio in the past but now he keeps it locked so people hang out in the garage. Bedbugs hike back to apartments via shoes etc and cycle repeats.

The place is a revolving door, rents are now so high that 3-6 people live in a 3.5 and incidences of bedbugs just keeps going up. Not to mention that they rent apartments WITH bedbugs already in them and that just helps to spread these things around more.

Once you sign the lease forget about anything being repaired in your unit, pipe leaking, fix it yourself; water runs brown (yes it does, rusty pipes), too bad for you because you are locked into the lease; bedbugs, must be your fault, you brought them in because this building never had them before you moved here; etc etc.

Major Slumlord.

Poor management and unlivable building if you go to the garage area you can see it is about to fall you may leave your apartment without finishing your leases go to the rental board and they will fix your problem very quickly get all the tenants to sign a petition and you guys are all free and on top of all that the janitors there are constantly stoned and don't do much for the buildings appearances it looks like a dump.

I hope this was helpful for you guys you always have the right to leave

your apartment if you give them a 10 day notice to exterminate properly and if its not done you may leave without any backlash.

I have lived in this building for 5 years and the friend that introduced me to the place (who has lived in 2 apts in the building, separate from mine) 9+ years and I/We have NEVER had an issue with bed bugs. Makes me wonder what apts were infested, what condition the apartment(s) were left in as well as where they found/bought their furniture. I'm sorry they had to go through what they did but it's not fair nor accurate to paint us all with the same brush. Just thought I'd offer this feedback

in hopes of balancing perspectives. Then again, I did get a visit from that lady bug last summer.

We had been living in the building for 1 year without problems. We suddenly decided to get a bigger apartment in the same building. As soon as we signed the lease the previous tenants told use they had left because of bed bugs, we asked the landlord if he had dealt with the problem and he said he had and it was no longer an issue. Within weeks of living in the new apartment we started getting welts. We informed the landlord and he brought in an exterminator which worked for a few weeks. To make

a long story short the exterminator returned 3 times over the course of the year with no positive results. We ended up abandoning our lease early by threatening to sue for physical/material/psychological damages. In the end we had lost all our furniture and my roommates friendship is no longer existent. To this day when ever i think about bed bugs my skin gets itchy and i become paranoid.

My roommate and I moved in August 1, 2009. It was a lease transfer. We'd asked about mice, bugs, problems, etc, and we were told everything had been fine. Unfortunately, a week or two after I moved in, I started getting massive, itchy red welts on my arms and legs. I did some research and concluded we had bed bugs. I even saw some of the nasty little things. I told the concierge, and he immediately called in exterminators. He was quick to respond to the problem, but it was really obvious

that this was not the first time they'd had bedbugs in the building. The exterminator even told us that he'd sprayed other apartments on the 6th floor a few years ago. We spent a fortune washing and bagging all our clothes before they sprayed, and I have not been bitten since then even though the spray worked so that the bugs had to crawl through it to be killed (as in, you are the bait). However, I've spread diatomaceous earth all over my bedroom and vacuum and re-apply pretty much every week. I can not wait to move out of this place--the paranoia is just not worth the trouble.
