I noticed a few reviewers complained about bed bugs, but we did not experience that at all.

The problem was solved. We were not bit.

We stayed at 1714 saint-denis for 10 nights from 23rd december 2012 for holidays.

We had a very pleasant stay.

We made our reservation by internet and got receipt after payment.

The studio was perfect for us.

It was clean, within walking distance to many attractions, and next right to Berri-UQAM station.

My fiancee and I stayed at 1714 saint-denis for 7 nights.
We have not had problem with bed bugs.
The location was perfect. The staff was courteous and friendly.
The place was clean. The toilet paper dispenser was empty. The room was missing the TV's remote control.
We were still able to use the TV with manuel controls.
But there are minor issues compared to the benefits.
Parking was free. We walked parked the car in the parking lot and took the subway for the duration of our stay.

Renters Beware! There are bed bugs in this building.
This place is run down. They have a posting on kijiji
For room rentals for students and travellers. The people renting the place are ignorant and dont give a crap once they take your cash and doesnt give you time to answer your questions. They will LIE and tell you that they never had an outbreak of bed bugs. Tape all over the cracks and crevices of the unit and tape on the electrical outlet. Found bugs trappe

1714 RUE ST DENIS
BED BUGS IN THE UNITS ON THE 4TH FLOOR THAT THEY ARE RENTING OUT AS A DAILY ROOM RENTAL OR STUDENT STUDIO OR APARTMENT RENTAL. THEY TOOK OUR MONEY AND DIDNT GIVE A RECEIPT OF WISH TO RECTIFY THE ISSUE. SKINS AND LIVE BUGS FOUND ON THE SEAMS OF THE BED OF THE APARTMENT UNIT THAT THEY RENTED DAILY. THEY KEPT IGNORING CALLS AFTER CALLS BUT THEY CAN TEXT, BUT IGNORED TO CALLBACK.
