Went to look at an apartment to rent, an ad I had found on Craigslist. When the landlord was taking me up the elevator to view the unit, there was a sign posted (possibly by a tenant?) saying that the building was currently infested with bedbugs. The landlord hastened to tell me when she noticed I was reading it over her shoulder that she would "take care of it". No way in hell I'd even consider renting if other tenants are trying to let prospective renters beware of the current situation.
