We lived at the Victory Building for two years without problem. Actually, our stay there had been really nice because the people who work at the building are great and the residents are friendly.
We have been forced out of the building by a terrible bed bug infestation. I awoke last week to discover bites all over both of my children. I had bites previously but didn't know what they were. Also, my children and I were away in the summer and when we returned home I saw blood on my husband's
sheets but didn't now what it was.
Within three days we were out of there. We've had two exterminators in and everyone has said that exterminating is a risk. And it's a risk that we do not want to take. I can't tell you how damaging it has been to feel so unsafe within your own home. We'd rather be with no possessions... sleeping on NEW mattresses on the floor than be terrorized in the night.
PMC the apartment company responded quickly. That said, there have been MANY tenants with exterminators recently and they have not been honest about the problems.
This building cost us our peace of mind, cost us THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars in loss and has traumatized me terribly.
Avoid at all costs.
