This is an apartment building with more than 50 units. Pest control has been called at least three times in the last few months, responding to at least three infestations. One building-wide inspection was made several weeks ago. Within the last week or two a discarded sofa was seen for a day in the loading dock/dumpster area, wrapped in plastic and bearing the note "Do not take! Bedbugs!" Bedbugs are a topic of lively discussions in the building's library. Just thinking about the nasty critters
