Moved in during Fall 2010 and everything seemed perfect. When days got warmer, I started to wake up with bites every single morning. I'd never seen a bed bug in my life (and please consider that I'm native to a so-called "undeveloped" country) and that's exactly what I found in my Apartment at Park Plaza (Riverstone Residential Group). I found the first bed bug on 2011 Labor Day Weekend. Then the nightmare began.
When I told the manager about this situation in my apartment (and showed her a ba
g with bugs that I collected as evidence), she suggested that they might be coming from a neighbor who has "suspicious" habits. Later on I found out that they were aware of the infestation occurring across my hallway and which ended up being the source of the bugs in my apartment.
They sent a fumigator, he did his job of spraying around BUT two days after I'm still finding new bites, new bugs in my bed, my walls, my floor, on the hallways walls and carpet!!!! It's just HORRIBLE
The worst thing is that they are not willing to take a wide scale ACTION plan! This can be a very serious sanitary issue.
Ridiculously enough their proposed solution to "stop the bed bug infestation" is to place a door sweeper on my neighbor's door!!!!
Same story as everyone else. Started getting bites shortly after moving in. Getting the apartment sprayed was really stressful because I was pregnant at the time. Sprayed 4 times and they still kept coming back because the walls were not properly sealed. Living far away and bedbug free now.
bitten, now bitter on 01/17/2010
When I moved into apt 712 in Sept 2009, I was bitten over a large portion of my body with in 3 days. They sprayed, but only my unit and I was bitten more within a couple of days. They acted liked they cared, but their slow and partial action said otherwise. I was finally allowed to move to another unit, but I had to crash at a friend's place for a month since the only available unit was one people were moving out of a month from when I refused to go back to my apartment. A little before Chri
stmas I spotted a live bed bug in the laundry room of the building. I notified management but don't know if anything was ever done.
I had a severe reaction to bed bugs five hours after moving in. I nearly went into anaphylactic shock and was rushed to the ER. We will be getting ALL our money back and if not our lawyer will do something about it. We found out that a memo had been sent out a month before we started renting. At no time were we notified. Do NOT live here!

I have bed bugs! I'm freaking out! I didn't know what they were at first. Started getting them shortly after moving in. Have lived here for 5 weeks. Did some research and figured out what was going on after washing my sheets, clothing, floors etc repeatedly! This is horriable! New bites every morning! There are mattresses by the dumpsters with signs on them saying "Do not take, bedbugs!" I never knew how serious this could be, but now I know!!!

Rec'd notification mid-August '09 that bedbugs were reported in the building and all units would be inspected. My apt rec'd a 'no bugs' report. Shortly after Labor Day, I woke up 4 days in a row with new bites. Reported to the manager and pest control sprayed later in the week. The bites decreased, but did not go away. Saw a bedbug for the 1st time on 10/01/2009. Apt re-sprayed about 4 days ago. No bites yet, but I will be moving when the lease is up - maybe before if they return. It seems
that management is sincerely attempting to resolve the issue.
(September 2009) I used to live in apartment 612, and after a few weeks noticed small red bumps on my skin. Eventually we found out they were bedbugs, moved apartments, wahsed everything, but still have them. Have heard reports from neighbors that also have them.
