I moved into the apartment in December 2009 and quickly learned it had a horrendous bed bug problem. The landlords were in serious denial about it and had me deal with the fumigator myself. It was so infested (hundreds of bugs) that I had to do thirty loads of laundry (bagging all my items), throw out most of my furniture, the carpet had to be ripped out and the fumigator had to come FIVE times (before I gave up and moved out).
