I have lived here for over 3 years and have never had a bed beg in my place. If I do have a problem I talk to the Super and it is fixed ASAP. I have seen people bring in furniture from the garbage and then say they have bed bugs and I know they brough them in themself from the garbage.
If you keep your place clean and don't bring in garbage you will not have bed bugs.
You can get bed beds anywhere if you keep bringing in garbage other people toss out.

oh yes and freddy does not even live in the building. he is on odsp and is a lazy slob who sits on a park bench in front of the high school. So why he would even come on here to comment on something that is not his problem just shows you he has nothing better to do! he is the boyfriend of john henry who lived in 1005

the whole entire building is infested with coachroaches, like really bad. the problem is house keeping on the tenants part and not screening new tenants on the management part ( Like screening drug dealers and non rent paying tenants. Ther owner of this building has no management skills whatssoever. he spends more time in the tribunal trying to get rid if tenants that if he properly screened would have not let in the first place. This owner is losing quality tenants for non paying poor tenants w
ho are to lazy to clean and pulling furniture out of the garbage which is causing the infestation. Good luck kirsh you will need it. i assure im not paying the rent hike this year to cover repairs and live with coachroaches. Here is idea charge the coachroaches rent, the bug type, not the ones from you know where?

I can also confirm the "non-compliance" of some tenants Freddy mentioned. Some people are hoarders, others alleged drug dealers and they refuse to let people come in to inspect their apartments.

Bedbugs have been an ongoing concern at 182 Jameson since 2005 they were in a number of units at that time. The entire building was not sprayed until 2009 and the pest control was supposed to return for a follow-up one month after they sprayed but this never happened. Some units were non-compliant...which is problematic for other tenants.
Some of the tenants contacted the Health Dept. of the City of Toronto, but they seem to have forgotten about us. Until all the cracks and crevices in the b
uilding are patched up and the entire building and contents are treated again, we will continue to have a problem.

Hmm. Also at 182 Jameson Ave I think I just moved into the other reported apt. Found a little bug on me this morning and just moved into 1005 a couple days ago.

I moved out in May because of bed bugs. The supervisor knew but was surprised that I threw away 99% of my furniture. They were spraying with ineffective sprays and the problem still remains.
