The apartment at this address is # 203.
Last fall (Oct. 2007), I noticed that I was getting large red bites on my legs and arms. After a little bit of research, I came to the conclusion that we had bedbugs. My roommate only ever got bitten when she was sitting on the couch, and sure enough, that's where they had originated from. We had purchased this sofa bed from someone on Craigslist.com for a really good deal. It makes me wonder if this person lied about their reason for selling it and
just wanted to get rid of the infested couch.
We tried to take care of things on our own initially (vacuuming & cleaning constantly), but it proved to be futile. I contacted our landlord, and it seemed that he'd already had experience dealing with this from other tenants at other buildings.
In total, he had come in to spray the apartment about 5 times on his own. It did the trick at first, but eventually, I had to go back to the constant cleaning and vacuuming for 3 weeks before giving up.
All of this was done with in March of 2008. I haven't had any problems with bedbugs since.
