told that pest control would be coming the following Monday, they never came. Then I was told the annual fumigation should solve the bed bug problem as well(contradiction to what I was previously told). Annual building fumigation was done and two weeks later still finding bed bugs and bites. Notified the property manager again who said pest control would contact me to schedule an appointment within the next few days. No one called but on Oct 1st I recieved notice from the building saying that they would be treating my unit on Oct 3rd between 1 & 4pm. I made arrangements with my work to take half a day off and also made arrangements for a place to take my 2 cats during this time. The following day, Oct 2nd (1 day before the notice indicated)I returned home at 3pm to find the apartment covered in the same oily pesticide that was used 2 weeks prior with my 2 cats in the pesticide filled unit with the window shut. I spent hours mopping up the oily mess as my floor and walls and belongings were covered in it. Later I find out that pest control was never involved but the superintendant sprayed this himself (unsure of his qualifications) and the same pesticides that were said to be unsafe for my pets were now suddenly safe. Three days later and I am still finding bugs in the unit. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS BUILDING. The Property Managers are the worst I have ever dealt with.
