The previous report is totally bogus. I know this house (I live in the same neighbourhood), and they do not rent the top floor of their house, and haven't in the 13 years I've known them.
Also, a "big bug" on a wall is NOT a bed bug. Bed bugs hide in cracks in the wall, in headboards, in floorboards, in mattresses, certainly not in the open. And they are not bigger than ants. Do some research.

Why do you claim "Posts are solely the responsibility of their respective authors."

and then allow anonymous authors. Is that being responsible? What of reports that have nothing to do with bed bugs, why are they part of YOUR SITE?

I'm sorry I didn't put this on the site sooner. I had rented the very top floor of this house in January 2009. Very nice family owned it. But as I was waiting for my stuff to arrive out of province I went in to clean etc at night. Noticed a bug on the wall in the bathroom. I knew the guy before me was a gross tenant as was obvious from the dirt and I was aware of bedbugs because my sister is terrified of getting them. I told her about it that night. So the next day we pulled out the stove and fr

idge to find A LOT of dead cockroaches behind them. And sure enough, one live one. For those of you who don't know...for every one live cockroach you actually see, fifty more are hiding in your baseboards etc. They were good enough to let me out of the lease and thank the lord I didn't actually have my stuff in there. But the guys downstairs were infested too..they told me. And the Landlords were trying to solve themselves, which isn't always good...you need to exterminate! Anyway...I'd be hesitant to live there unless you ensure there is no more issue. Especially since I asked the woman why there was a big can of bug spray on the fridge when I was looking at the place. She looked at me and said they had had ants a while back. Ha! Big ants those were!
BTW...pretty sure the bug in the bathroom was a bedbug now that I've seen soooo many pics!
