Once again an update on 359 Davenport Road. It never fails to amaze me that someone will write to a website anonymously with information that is neither current nor accurate. Our building has been without a pest problem for 18 months and yet in October of this year 2009 the "tenant" ( who brought in a street couch infested with BB in 2007 and who lived here for one year ) and who claims is poor,( although the rental fee in that unit is far above the average in that neighbourhood) has come up

As the manager of 359 Davenport Road, I can assure you that no one has ever been allowed to "brake" a lease with our company. BB are a reality of life and there have been many accusations about the pests and none of them are true when it comes to my property.

We had bedbugs in Apt 12 in 2007 for about 4 months. Someone in the building brought in a used bed from the street. The landlord sprayed once and we cleaned the apt thoroughly for weeks, tossing lots of stuff and doing everything we read online one could do. They never returned. We talked to neighbours who got bedbugs in their places after us, but we have been free of them since. - Sept 2008.

I had BBs at this apartment for +/- 8 months. although the landlord did spray and had a pest control company \"on retainer\", the landlord refused to spray the whole building, just units with BBs. in the end, once the problem had gone away from a few month, I moved out.

I was told the infestation came from a fellow in the basement and/or a new mattress from Sleep Country Canada (told by the landlord).

I have been living in Apt #7 at 359 Davenport Rd since Sept 07. In November of 07 we found that we had bedbugs. Our landord sprayed every month for the past 6 month with no effect on the bed bugs. The rumor is that they were brought in by the tenants of the apartment below us in a couch they got off the street. I do not know if any of the other units are having any problems but I wouldn't be surprised. We were able to brake our lease and are leaving.
