I saw a bed bug in my couch. I was laying on the couch reading a book and then I felt my arm being itchy, then I say the little bastard on the fold of my shirt. Freaked out, tried to kill it but I think it got away. Checked the couch but couldn't find anything. Checked the bed and found one on the mattress. Yuck!!
I guess I know what those 20 itchy spots I have been getting for weeks are? (I thought they were an allergic reaction)
Vacuumed the the bed and couch, sprayed with bed bug inse

cticide and have been bit free for 6 days. Too bad I think I just pushed the bugs to neighboring apartments (left, right, up, down, across), so they will come back. I did have them last year and cleaned everything and they are back again.
I guess for me, it will be all about prevention now. Vacuum, clean sheets, clean surfaces, etc. every week and hope they don't come back.
Yuck.
