Worst place to live in. My wife had scars all over the back. management is pathetic when it comes to complains. Very very rude management. I suggest to pay some extra bucks and get a decent place rather than this shit hole. I will never ever ever recommend this place to anyone.

2 weeks ago - It started when I got 3 small hive looking marks on my left forearm. I panicked and went the walk-in clinic. The doctor there told me that they were hives and I was having an allergic reaction to something. He prescribed me a steroid cream and said they'd go away. They did not. Instead they started to spread, appearing now on my other arm, my back, my stomach and ankles. I went back to the walk-in clinic, saw a different doctor who speculated that they were bug bites, but couldn't
confirm which kind.
I began to realize, despite daily inspections of my apartment, "we have bed bugs". Last week, I requested Pest Control come and do an inspection. The Management (who were awesome with me and VERY helpful, by the way) organized and they were to be there Thursday. I ended up taking Thursday off of work, and saw my family doctor in the morning. He confirmed they were bed bug bites. I rushed home, handed his confirmation letter to my rental office and insisted they do a treatment that day. I was given the instruction list of things to do, so I packed my entire apartment. All clothing and anything fabric went into garbage bags to be washed. After preparing my apartment for treatment which normally takes people a full day to do (I did it in 2 hours), they pest control guy along with my superintendent knocked on my door. I was still hysterical and crying my face off.
I started to haul all of the bags downstairs for washing and the pest control started. 25 loads of laundry (meaning $120 or so on washing and drying), plus nowhere to put them, on top of not being able to go back into our apartment for 24 hours was just the beginning. The next day when we went back, we had to throw away our couch, bed and a ton of furniture.
Absolute nightmare.
I hope this never happens to anyone, as it is a life-altering experience that leaves you where I'm at now.... Completely exhausted, disoriented and scared of every little thing I see on the floor in my apartment.

I lived here for 5 years and saw nothing for the first 4.5 years. I Started seeing these small little insects on the base boards and wall, woke up one night to them on my body, pulled my matress from the wall and saw an infestation on my matress. I freaked out and put my matress on the balcony in the middle of the winter and threw out the sheets. The next day I discovered that the insects were bed bugs and I gave my notice to move out. The property management didn't seem to care why i was mov
ing out. I had to through out my sofa and all my bedding. I'm not sure how long they were in my apartment but they seemed to come out of no where. I slept on an air matress for a month and a half and was paronoid about bringing them to my new apartment so i ended up throwing out a lot of things i thought they could travel in. The property management took this situation very lightly, which leads me to believe it's probably happened quite a bit.

re back i am getting 20-30 bites a night, i asked the management office to pest control again since they didnt do anything last time, management is giving me something like a 3 week cycle where they wont send another pest control over for 3 weeks at least, i told them this is BS since they didnt do their job right last time, will talk to them again on Monday. this building definilty has bedbugs, stay away, for anyone who got them use mattress cover and use STEAM CLEANER on ur mattress it shuld work, I am off to find a steam cleaner in case the management office giving me crap again...only 1 more year of this to go

I've only been here for about two weeks (24th floor), and suspected bed bugs when i woke up with a random bite here and there. But this morning I woke up with about 15 to 20 bites on my right arm, and a few random ones on my back. I did some investigating, and caught a bed bug right on my mattress. The little bugger is in captivity now (ziplock bag), and will be presented to management. Last week I received a notice about pest control people coming in tomorrow, so at least that's good timing.
It'll be interesting to see how the management reacts though. I'm actually subletting, and they've treated me like crap since I'm not the actual lease holder. They've acted extremely cold and unfriendly, refused to change the buzzer to go to my cell number (after being presented with my signed subletting agreement), and told me that they won't help me with anything and will only deal with the actual lease holder. I'm outta here asap, which isn't soon enough.
God I'm itchy..
