I discovered that I have bed bugs this past Sunday. I've lived in this building for 6 years and this is the first time I have had bugs at all.

I have heard rumour of other people on my floor with the same problem about 6 mos ago but it was never an issue for me.

I've also seen mattresses and couches slashed and discarded on numerous occassions in the past year which I can only assume would have been the result of a similar issue.
