Don't be so sure that the larvae are bedbugs. They could be carpet beetles. So could the bug walking across your blanket. Look up photos of carpet beetles and bedbugs to be certain what it is that you saw.

Carpet beetles love to occupy dressers, closets, bedframes. They don't bite.

Today my husband and I found a bedbug walking across the blanket on top of our bed...then some larvae in our closet and dresser. No bites so hopefully we caught it and there is no infestation! We have fumigated the bedroom, will be washing clothes and spraying the rest of the apartment.
