I am a resident of a small 8-unit 3 floor building and have been for nearly 9 years. l were sprayed (as she had said that she also had bedbugs). Well to this very day (we STILL have bedbugs) Our last spray was mid July (sprayed by Magical Pest Control)-A company provided by TCHC that does NOT do a very thorough job. We had a Public Health Inspector come in to inspect our unit as we have an ifestation of cockroaches too, he spoke with the management office in our area and requested that in mid July that every unit in the building be treated-Ours, neighbours and 1 other apt. were treated, (We were told that the tenants could refuse access to their apt.) This has been extremely frusterating for us ...A lot of sleepless nights, 2 children + 1 teenager sharing a bed and we are expecting another child in Oct. We live in TCHC and we can not afford to live elesewhere. We have thrown out countless couches, chairs, beds, clothing, etc... Living with these "pests" has been a complete nightmare and needs to be treated as a "community delemna" in order to rectify the spread of bedbugs.
