What the HELL do your comments have to do with bedbugs?

well, this place is exactly what looks perfect until you move in and sign a contract foe an year... well my experience over 2 years here drove me crazy... 1 noise- u can hear the guy next door open and close the closet doors, if they talk or watch tv. imagine if someone is gonna party...witch there are a lot of party and drugs and all the weird people, including the management... well my car and other 28 cars got flooded in there underground parking witch i pay $50/mth and i got nothing...i got

:" hahaha is that your car? :):):)" and then when we ask about compensation we got :"well...is not our fault is the city hall fault because the did not check the sewing pumps" like in your house is the city hall to came and check if the toilets flush... any way this summer i had a really bad allergy and the A/C was not working and i ask them to came and repair it... it took 2 mths and they came and open the thing and it was disgustingly dirty and i ask them to clean it.. well they did not, they left it open for me to put it back... and the rent increase from $865 to $902 in less than 2 yrs. and by the way cars in the garage still get broke in with all the cameras they have.... GOOD LUCK

I came to look at this building about a month ago. I am from out of town and I seen this buidling advertised as being really great because of the indoor pool and sunk-in living rooms etc. So I came and checked it out. The people were really nice who showed me around but when I asked if the carpet would be replaced in the unit I was looking at she did a long ummmm and said she didn't know. The carpet had puke stains all over it from a baby who lived there and it was filthy! I asked if there

had been a bed bug problem (heard rumours) and she said that only 1 person had them about a year ago and that tenant was evicted. Funny because I head the exact same story from a lady and man at 33 Robinson when I went to look at that building as well. Why the dishonesty? Why not treat this problem and stop lying and perhaps if you want a good tenant like myself you can think about replacing a carpet full of puke stains from a baby! EW

well my wife and I worked and lived at 136 Bay St , We had a new tenant that moved in and then the person next door said that they where getting bite by bed bugs, so we went to check and sure as fact there they where. We call pco and had them come out the next day and check just to make sure we where right, and to find out what we needed to do to fix this or shall I say Bite it in the ass.
we always had a clean building and was always up front with people about the Bug trouble in are area. We h

ave now moved on from this company and out of Hamilton as we could see that was happing ,and how the owners of these building would deal with it, To be the biggest rental owner in all north america and to treat people this way we didn't want to be part of it any more and thats us given up 8 years with the job. I sorry about the long term tenants that have seen the change from great place to live to see it become a slum pit some of the older tenants that have been here for 31 years don't have any body to help move there stuff and P.C.O just wont do they;er unit THATS a shame.people go picking stuff out of the garbage or from the cerbside and bring it back to there unit or building STOP DOING THAT the stuff is in the garbage because it has bed bugs thank you and sorry to the teanants of 136 bay.Was a great building...

I had bed bugs in my apartment a few months ago (May 2010), and it took them forever to spray! I was getting an allergic reaction to the bites, they were swollen and I couldn't sleep properly, but the property manager, Homestead, only sprays this place on the third Monday of every month. So if you have a problem a few days after that too bad! It only takes ten days for bedbug larvae to grow up, so in that time the population explodes and it gets so much worse.

My apartment was covered with th

is filthy old carpet, with stains and burns, and rips and holes in the seams that was perfect for bed bugs to crawl under and hide out of reach of the spraying.

When I asked the superintendent about some concerns and clarifications I needed about the procedure on preparing my apartment for spraying, she just shrugged her shoulders and said it wasn't her problem.

They did nothing to check the adjacent tenants and spray them too, which is a necessity if your going after bed bugs! Otherwise they keep coming back and move from apartment to apartment.

This place is the perfect storm for bedbug explosion. Bottom line: DON"T MOVE HERE!!! You'll get bed bugs and when you move out, they'll try to charge you with frivolous "repairs" to squeeze out your money. Homestead did this to all my friends too when they moved out of their various buildings. But I'm so glad to be gone from this slum.

Without a doubt this building has bed bugs. First bitten in June 2008 and saw them in Aug 2008 (wasn't sure what was biting me until I saw them). Neighbour has also reported them. Landlord has arranged for spraying by PCO but bugs keep returning.
