I have lived in apartment B5 at 125 Park St. S. for almost 5 years. I have never had a problem with bed bugs nor has any of the people I know in the building. I remember 2 times bed bugs were in 2 different apartments. Both where cleaned up asap. It was because the people who rented from the apartment where bringing in furniture from outside other buildings and dumpsters. I wonder how they got bed bugs?
Happy tenant n staying here on 05/01/2012
I live in 125 park street with my boyfriend and have been here for 11 months and we have never seen any bed bugs . Pest control comes and sprays units n common areas n hallways which I think is amazing cause it helps keepa bugs out. I would not have stayed if there was bugs here as I am pregnant . As for the lady who says she sees garbage outside the building u must have the wrong building as I havent seen anything and my windows face the school so I would see it.
This is a GREAT place to cal
l home :-) So ppl dont believe everything u read on the net you should come see the building and units before u believe what u read :-)

Hi Everyone
Just thought, I might inform ALL who are reading this,,,,,, As you have found this address reported on this website,,,, I just want to advise you,,, that if you are considering 125 PARK STREET SOUTH in Hamilton as your new home,,,, PLEASE consider that the reports that are being generated on this site are from either, superintendents that I have fire or angry occupants that I have evicted. By doing this, only to make OUR building a GREAT place to call home, I have created many enemi
es.
BUT I ask you, PLEASE contact me, and I can show you invoices, proving that our WAR against bedbugs has been and continues to be successful.
I have also contacted the City of Hamilton for a report on ALL pick ups that they have been done at this building for large household items in the past 2 years. At any given time, you may speak with many existing occupants, and ask questions if you would like to do so.
PLEASE tell where you might get any of these assurances, while looking for a new home in Hamilton. As well as we treat ALL vacant suites with a general treatment before anyone moves in.
If you are interested in contacting us please email me directly at margie_cormanagement@hotmail.com
Thank you and GOOD Luck, with finding a new home that is safe and clean LIKE our building.

As in a report I posted last week APRIL 24th, it was a copy of an email to the creator of this website. To whom, as not replied to that email or any others that I have sent to him directly. If you take a look at the BLOG section of this website, you will see that he has not posted on it since January 2011. This being proof that this website is NOT properly manned, thus allowing vindictive, ex occupants who have likely been evicted and superintendents that have been fired run a muck.
The creat
or of this website Maciej Ceglowski, has since created another website called PINBOARD and I guess is too busy to give this website any of his time.
Therefore, everyone must be reminded that the reasons he created this Bed Bug Registry is NOT the reasons that people are posting on it anymore and should NOT take these reports as valid reports.

Catherine, maybe you have the wrong address or building.... as I am the Property Manager and I place the calls to the City of Hamilton for the BULK up for disposal of ALL household items that are disposed of for 125 PARK STREET SOUTH and I can confirm with my records and the city records that the last time this this building was had a pick up on was March 8, 2012 and this was due to a tenant moving, as they had purchased a house and wanted to dispose of some old items before moving. As well as I
do have a pick up scheduled for next week as I have an occupant transferring from a two bedroom to a one bedroom as this would obviously cause him the need to dispose of some items.
Also, I do understand of the need to treat more than just the unit that has been found to have bedbugs, that is what we did do. We inspected ALL adjacent units, found no bedbugs in any and then we treated ALL adjacent units so that the bugs would be killed upon trying to leave one unit and enter another. We left the unit that was found to have bedbugs empty for 4 MONTHS and treated it accordingly. We have since had regular inspections and found NO MORE bedbugs in our building and will continue our monthly treatment of ALL common areas and our annual inspections and general treatments for any other pests as reported.
I would like to tell you, how sorry I am to here of your situation in your home and only hope that you and or your landlord has success, as we have had. It takes persistence, patience and money to combat these awful pests, to which I can tell you can be done.
GOOD LUCK

I live in a building that is very close to this one and I walk past it on a daily basis. Have bedbugs in MY building, if only I had known about this amazing lifesaver of a website before I moved in..my apartment is on here but I found out too late. In regards to 125 Park St,every week, there is a pile outside of mattresses, box springs, couches or other upholstered furniture..always at least 4 or 5 pieces. I have noticed this for months and suspected that the building was infested, as so many
others are on that street and in this general area! Just seeing the vehement denial from the superintendent is enough to confirm the suspicions.
The issue is that the entire building needs to be treated once the problem gets out of hand, but landlords and supers choose to ignore research that has been conducted and spray only units that report the problem. These slumlords will end up going bankrupt because of the money they waste in ineffectively treating buildings. Keep posting reports, it is the only way that tenants like us are going to be able to avoid places like this. Many landlords and supers are just not trustworthy in this matter.

I have NOT seen any bedbugs here. I moved in June 1, 2011, when the previous Super (who has posted a nasty tale on here as well) was here. She told me BEFORE I moved in that there was NO problems with bedbugs, or any other type of bugs in this building (this was May 2011). Also, in May 2011 when I came to look at my apartment, I spoke to another tenant who lived here alredy and asked her flat out if there was any type of bug problem in this building, she said to me, "If there was, I wouldn't be
living here". I live in fear of bedbugs, having had to deal with them a long time ago, so I am always checking. I check the dryer lint traps every time I do laundry, both before and after I use it, to make sure there are no carcasses. And there are definitely no carcasses in anybody's laundry. They do random sprays for precautionary measures, and hallways are done regularly also for precautionary measures, ALL TYPES. The people posting this are probably ones being evicted, given the dates of their posts, it adds up. There is not a bug problem that I have seen in this building, otherwise, I would have moved already. PS - the lady I asked one year ago, still lives here, too.

Why didn't you add that you were fired for smoking crack??

Dear Sir or Madam
I am so angry right now... I have emailed you before, questioning your ethics on posts. Particularly anonymous posts that not been confirmed by you or the lack of your attempt to contact me the Property Manager of 125 Park Street South in Hamilton, to at least gain the truth of the situation.
On July 25, 2011, I wrote a post on the wall as you failed to reply to my emails and requests to handle this situation. Please read this to gain more insight on the reason we had
bedbugs and how we succeeded on ridding the building of them.
We have a regular pest control company that we use for monthly treatments of ALL common areas, as well as we have two units treated monthly, this allows us to maintain any issues tenants may advise us of, with a general treatment, for general pests. When we have a vacant unit it is treated BEFORE anyone new moves in as a precaution. I can and will obtain a letter from the regular pest control company and also from the company I had used when we did have a bedbug problem, that specialized in bedbugs only,to confirm that we are bedbug FREE and have maintained this status to date and I will NOT hesitate to use these letters and testimonials from occupants (that live at our building and have done so BUG free for many years) in the LAW SUIT I am going to ensue, if you DO NOT contact me IMMEDIATELY and take action to remove these reports that are appearing on your website, likely from malicious tenants and or previously fired superintendents.
It is stated in your guideline section as a FAQ
How can you be sure these reports are true?
and your answer is We can't - this is the Internet! All our bedbug reports are submitted through the site, and have not been vetted for accuracy. We do our best to flag posts that have been disputed, but we remind our readers to take things with a grain of salt.
However no one knows this unless they go into that section. I am going to contact a lawyer immediately to ensue court action against you, your site and any other sites like yours. This is NOT fair when there is no truth to it. YOUR SITE is not serving the purpose you created it for, it is only allowing tenants who have been evicted due to having bedbugs an avenue to cause further issues for landlords who did take action to protect the other tenants in the building against these awful bugs that are such a nuisance to everyone, it also allows angry superintendents,to make fictitious reports and they were likely fired as they could not handle the situation accordingly.
See when telling the truth a ONE is able to use their name and not need to remain anonymous.

This is a filthy building. Bed bug infested. Management that is completely uneducated about how infestations spread...incapable of fulfilling responsibilities as landlords!
another fired superintendent on 08/30/2011
I am yet another superintendent fired by Marge Stephenson (manager) and Michael Schwarz (owner). I started working for COR Management in Jan 2011 when I took over maintenance and care of 125 Park St. S. as well as 46 & 48 Bold St. Marge indicated to me in an over the phone interview that they were having a problem with bed bugs at 125 Park St. S. in several units and not making any headway in eradicating the problem pests from these units. I had assured Marge that I would work diligently with
her, their pest control company and the infected tenants to assure they would be rid of them in a reasonable amount of time. I have previous experience with bed bugs and got rid of them in a 160 Unit building in my care in Halifax for a previous employer. I educated Marge and the tenants of the life cycle of bed bugs as well as the proper procedures in dealing with them effectively such as tumbling all clothes, linens and etc. in the dryer as a temp of 50C kills them and their eggs and to put the clothes in fresh garbage bags and double knot the bags. I also insisted she up the spraying of “dragnet” to once every two weeks as opposed to once a month to break the two week egg cycle. I see from Marge’s post here that SHE has taken credit for work she didn’t do. Once all the proper procedures were carried out the building was and is now to the best of my knowledge bed bug free. I sincerely hope her daughter and son in law who she and Michael replaced us with have the experience and qualifications to deal with any re-infestations as they occur which is inevitable given today’s epidemic of infestations due to the UN’s banning of the only chemical effective in killing these pests DDT and much to the lobbyists delight as they laughed all the way to the bank!!
Resident of 125 Park St. S. on 08/18/2011
I live in this buildings, we did have bedbugs over a year ago as most buildings did. But they are all gone, and have been gone now since early 2011. And the building periodically monitors to see if they have returned. So this building is BED BUG FREE but the website won't take off the alert.
ANGRY about this report on 07/25/2011
I have emailed twice with a dispute to this report and yet nothing as been posted in regards to my dispute. I am the property manager of this building and I want this report removed IMMEDIATELY. I would not mind so much if this was true, however it is not. I do think I know who has posted this. At first I thought it was an angry tenant who had been evicted or a super who had been fired. If it is the existing tenant I think it is PLEASE contact her immediately to confirm that this is NO LONGER an
ISSUE.
With our persistence and assistance she no longer has bed bugs. She failed to report her findings of bed bugs at for least 6 months, had her unit treated at her own expense with out my knowledge in May of 2010, notified me in late September. I had my pest control company assess her unit and instruct on what she needed to do to prepare for the treatments. She moved in from Toronto and how do we know she did not bring the bed bugs with her. I have had her unit treated a total of 6 plus times by two different companies and am HAPPY to report we have been rid of bed bugs in her unit for almost 6 months and still we are having the unit inspected on a regular basis to make sure we are rid of the bed bugs.

This place is filled with bedbugs, I've been living there over a year and they still aren't gone. All of our furniture is now ruined. And the company they use to spray doesn't do a very good job. Hired my own company to spray as well, building didn't pay for it. They did a much better job. But unfortunately there is just so many (1000's) all threw walls and floors so nothing will ever get rid of them completely. But building likes to deny any real problem.
