For anyone who is thinking of moving in to this home I would suggest that they don't because the landlord does not care about the fact that she has the problem with bed bugs in her room and will not take responsibility for getting rid of them. I didn't have this problem before moving here and didn't even know what bed bugs looked like until I moved here, stay far away from this residence.

I also wanted to add to my report that black marks were visible on my bed sheets and pillow cases, people that come to have or notice this problem should research the signs that lead to discovering it and contact the city of Brampton to let them know, there are also six tenants living in the home that I'm renting in individual rooms and I'm concerned that they have the problem and are not notifying the landlord to let her know.

Approximately about mid August in the room that I am renting at this location, I started noticing insects crawling on my bed during the night as I slept, and they were biting me, I did not know what they were at first but when I proceeded to get a rash on my arms I sought medical attention, I was asked by my doctor if there was a bed bug problem in my home and I told him that there was.On August 22 2011 I informed my landlord about this problem in writing and she told me that she had the same pr
oblem in her room also, I asked in writing for her to get an exterminator to get rid of the problem but she refused and gave me ordinary insect repellent to spray the room. On September 01 2011, I wrote a second letter to my landlord stating the problem with the bed bugs still existed and she told me to try dog flee repellent. On September 09 2011, I wrote a third letter to my landlord stating that the problem still exists, she then proceeded to tell me that I was responsible for calling the exterminator and paying for it, she also swore at me and did not take responsibility or call an exterminator. The problem still exists in my room currently, so I took action and called the peel regional board of health and submitted a report about the problem and my landlord's refusal to take responsibility to call an exterminator, also I contacted the city of Brampton because I've come to understand that it can spread and be carried from one dwelling to another in my clothes or in a bag, also I've had to throw out my headboard and bedding and will have to throw out my mattress as a result of the infestation of bed bugs in my room.
