Right before I moved in, in August of 2010, the apartment was sprayed. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but now I wonder if there were bedbugs in my unit before I moved in. The previous tenant left a loveseat in the unit, which I kept and used.

When I asked my landlord whether bedbugs had been a problem in the building before, he said that there had been some in the building five years ago.
