Update from May 17th post. The registry's site administrator refuses to acknowledge my emails to remove the original postings. Although hesitant at first the landlord did agree to have the apartment treated. Approx 6 weeks after treatment, we had Ottawa health inspectors come in and they could not find any bed bugs. Since then we have tried to have the listing removed repeatedly and there has been no response from the site admin.

Update from May 17th post: Landlord had mattress UV treated and room permethrin sprayed at their expense.

Moved in April 1st 2011. Immediately started getting bites. Landlord blames us, arguing about extermination costs.
