This house is disgusting.
The landlord does not care at all about the condition of the house. They are well aware of the bedbug situation but continue to rent it out without informing the tenant.
Everything about this house is in terrible condition. Stay Away!

hi! I used to live at 483 McLaren cornering Bank St, I lived there for about a little over a year, and the last 3 months I lived there, I had experienced an freaken nightmare of bedbugs. I lost my 2 cats,electronics,pictures, futon set, and the list goes on! It's an experience I will never forget, which I was really ashame of and I fell into a depression! I had to get rid of everything, and my clothes, before moving into my new place! I am a handicap person, with enough problems and having this whole ordeal happening to me, made my life miserable! Yes, we do have a bad situation of bedbugs in the centretown core of ottawa, which is bank street area!

I lived at this apartment for students a year ago. About late 2007 to early 2008 in a room where someone else used to live. This person left randomly and I was told that they come back every couple of months. Their stuff was still in the room, or at least some of it.
The mattress had a whole slew of bedbugs that I tried to kill but they started to spread.

You see this home is a heritage home converted to apartments. The place needs a complete overhaul and if the bedbugs weren't enough, there are mice and other bugs in this place. The whole apartment needs serious repair.

I would definitely recommend avoiding this house.
