Centertown is infested with bedbugs--if all of these people took the time to fill-out a report and post on here, then I, (and anyone with half a brain), will tend to take their word for it! If you are renting rooms to people from all walks of life, and from anywhere in the world, you are inviting the bugs into your home. Why don't you sleep in one of your rooms and see if you get bit so you know for sure--the bugs could just be waiting it out... Every landlord that lets his tenants be eaten aliv

The people who never lived here at 489 Maclaren Street, are submitting false reports. If they lived here and it is true, they should come and confront us. I had the whole house checked by Orkins a well known exterminator company. We do not have any bed bugs problem in this house and this statement can be testified and supported.

I lived here and on the first floor for 2 months. There were bedbugs near my pillow on my 2ND night living in that room. I was terrified and slept with the lights on a few nights a week. There must have been 6-8 bed bugs in my bed one night on the second week and i immediately threw all my bed sheets out.

I am a graduate student from France and I was looking for a place to live... The room I visited here (1st floor) is small and dirty and ugly. The kitchen is black and tiny. The corridor is scary. If I were the big woman who rents this house, I would be ashamed to rent such a place for a so high price.

This house is disgusting.
The landlord does not care at all about the condition of the house. They are well aware of the bedbug situation but continue to rent it out without informing the tenant.
Everything about this house is in terrible condition. Stay Away!

hi! I used to live at 483 McLaren cornering Bank St, I lived there for about a little over a year, and the last 3 months I lived there, I had experienced an freaken nightmare of bedbugs. I lost my 2 cats,electronics,pictures, futon set, and the list goes on! It's an experience I will never forget, which I was really ashame of and I fell into a depression! I lived at this apartment for students a year ago. About late 2007 to early 2008 in a room where someone else used to live. This person left randomly and I was told that they come back every couple of months. Their stuff was still in the room, or at least some of it.
The mattress had a whole slew of bedbugs that I tried to kill but they started to spread.
