ment you would never know I could possibly have bedbugs , please do not come live here it's disguisting unbelievable discust seriously I'm so sad I wasted all that money on brand new furniture from Leon's and now I'm infested with the bugs. It should seriously be an offense to say there's no bedbugs and yet there is , seriously tmr I'm calling public health The landlord specifically reported bedbugs in the 1535 and the 1525 , but they assured me none were in 1545 alta vista .... This is the third report and I'm pretty sure almost every apartment has the infestation ... We should all sign a demand to end the contract because this is not fair. I will start working on advising all the neighbors about the bedbug problem in the building , we need a solution.

e buildings are very old and bedbugs tend to spread from units through baseboard and ceiling cracks .

The second night we spent there after moving in, we caught 6 bedbugs CRAWLING on one of the beds. We put them in a plastic container and took pictures of them, they were about twice the size of a pencil's graphite tip and about 5mm long. The bedbugs had to be here before we moved in, none of us had any issues with bedbugs let alone seen one before that night.

They do treatments every 3 weeks if you request them but the guys that spray aren't very gentle with your belongings. A lamp was broken and some furniture damaged after a bed that was put up against a wall fell. The guy was rushed. You can't clean your baseboards for 4-6 weeks after the treatments so don't expect a clean environment for a while.

Doing a full clean up like they recommend will cost you quite a bit just in laundry. You'll have to get new furniture since it's now contaminated.

It's a lot of work to clean up everything and not very pleasant when you have to redo it 4 more times only to still have them crawling around.

Avoid 1525, 1535 and 1545 Alta Vista Drive if you don't want to live with bedbugs. Ask around and you'll be sure to find some more horror stories from tenants.
