There were bedbugs at least in the 3 apartments on the top floor and in the hallway. Landlord DID NOTHING. It costs money to get rid of them, and all the landlord did (as required) was have an exterminator come in and "spray" for bedbugs. I got an attorney friend of mine to write a letter on my behalf and was able to break the lease. Of course I had to pay around $500 out of pocket to get rid of them before I moved to a new place.
