Unfortunately case managers keep placing people in these apartments who are not capable of independent living and, therefore, not capable of doing the follow-up required to get rid of the bedbugs after their apartments have been treated. I just saw a man standing in his own urine in the laundry room. He does this daily so we all have to live with this filth. The people being placed here require a much higher level of care than what they are given. Case managers are confusing these apartments
with some kind of supervised living situation/group home and dumping very low functioning clients and not providing the care needed while management keeps accepting these patients to fill empty apartments. As a result this building has devolved into a psych ward with bedbugs, rapes, stabbings, suicides, urine soaked community rooms, gang activity, drugs......
I HAVE WORKED HERE FOR 3 YEARS AND THE BED BUGS HAVE BECAME A HUGE PROBLEM WITHIN THE LAST 2YEARS THEY ARE CONSTANTLY DOING APT CHECKS WITH A TRAIN DOG BUT AGAIN PPL ARE MOVING IN AND OUT SO THEY ARE SPREADING STILL. NOT ONLY ARE THE BEDS BUGS A BIG PROBLEM IN THIS BUILDING ITS ALSO INFESTED WITH MICE I HAVE SEEN MICE IN THE LOBBY RUNNING AROUND IN THE OPEN AND ALSO CRAWLING UP THE CURTAINS MY CLIENT HAS HAD DEAD MICE BEHIND HIS STOVE AND LIVE MICE RUNNING ON TOP HIS STOVE,COUCH, COUNTER TOPS ,A
ND EVEN THE TOP OF HIS FRIDGE. THEY PUT TRAPS AROUND HIS APT BUT SOON AS YOU CATCH ONE ANOTHER ONE IS RUNNING AROUND... BE VERY AWARE OF THIS BUILDING!!!!
the complex IS treating, at their cost, however, people ARE moving in and moving OUT -- likely spreading the bugs to other apartment complexes!

There is an ongoing problem in this apartment building of over 400 apartments. It has been a problem for over 2 years now and still no end to it. Periodic spot checks are not the solution, massive treatments to the whole building needs to be done.

I have a few clients that have had and has bed bugs in this building. This is a on-going problem in this building. There is a exterminator that comes to spray every week. I would like people to be aware of this problem.
