About a month ago I found bites on my chest and a few days later I was able to identify the small juvenile bed bug nymphs crawling on my mattress. I never saw an adult bug in my place.
I immediately informed my landlord. He was very accommodating and willing to treat the apartment. However, it appears that I may still have an infestation as I think I saw another small bug this morning. This is a testament as to how difficult it is to get rid of these critters as I have had a very mild infes
tation but one that has not gone away after treatment.
This is a multi-unit building and there have been several reports of bed bugs in the area, including next door. This suggests that there my be a reservoir somewhere, making it very difficult to get rid of them.
