Bed bugs were found on the 3rd floor at the beginning of July 2011. Bed bugs were not only infested in the furniture, but in the walls as well. Due to denial by the residents and incompetence by the management, the apartment remained untreated for 3 weeks. In this time the bed bugs spread throughout the rest of the apartment. It has since been exterminated, but it is possible that in that amount of time the bed bugs could have spread throughout the rest of the building.
