Met a neighbor who lives on 6th floor tonight and she said the bedbugs have worked their way up to the 5th floor. This past weekend I saw someone from the building leaving with 2 men from the 14th street laundry and about 20 ish large plastic bags filled with laundry. Guess that means another neighbor was hit. Hope the management addresses this problem before it spreads throughout the entire building.

i am a tenant in this building and am very concerned. This evening I saw the women that has bed bugs washing her laundry in the laundry. FYI you could be spreading them there lady...
this is of serious concern to everyone in the entire building and is talked about constantly.

I read recently that bed bugs travel trhough the walls.. stuyvesant town will come to check , inspect your apartment for free.

saw a notice saying an apartment in this building has been detected with bed bug infestation. I'm a tenant on the floor where the infestation was detected. So far, nobody including the management and the tenant in the infested apartment has notified us regarding inspections. I haven't found one single bed bug or a sign of bed bug in my apartment so far *touch wood, but I am very worried and paranoid about this whole bed bug situation.

getting bitten at night since 8/31/2010. Landlord did "visual inspection" on 9/3 did not provide detail of results till 9/7. At councilman Garodnick's office' request dog inspection done with a positive result, though landlord attempted to blame it on me. Landlord to do extermination, uncertain if adjacent apartment will be done. I"m told by another exterminator that he has done "dozens" of apartments in Stuy-town after the landlord's method failed.
