e me a list of things that my roommates and I had to do before the exterminator came. I asked her the name of the exterminator and she was not sure. So I asked for the number of our building management and I called I asked if they would pay for having a reputable extermination company come and treat our apartment. The woman I spoke to informed me that they do not pay for other exterminators because they have their own that they use for all of their buildings. She took down my name and number and told me that Mike the exterminator would contact me to set up an appointment. She explained that we had to follow the list of instructions of what to do before the exterminator comes to the T and that the exterminator would come twice. When I asked the name of the company she told me they used Pestime. While I am glad they are taking action, I could not find this company on the Better Business Bureau website nor could I find any reviews, license information, address or anything else about this company anywhere online. I am hoping that they do a thorough job and that they seal up all cracks, spray into the walls etc. If they do not then I think I will demand that they have a licensed company come in and do the work and then substract it from our rent. We will see how this goes.

I begged them to treat the couch too - I will have them come back in a couple of weeks to follow up, and hopefully by some miracle this extreme under-treatment will work.

ey sent an exterminator for precautionary measures. As it turns out the exterminators are treating an apartment that is one other apartment away from us in the building. We were advised not to tell anyone else in the building even though there is an apartment sandwiched between two places that have been treated for bedbugs. We washed all our clothes, the cost of which is recognized to be our responsibility. We were even accused of 'just wanting money for our laundry' when we said we were taking this precautionary measure. We are keeping all our clothes in bags until the exterminator returns and haven't seen any signs of bed bugs since their visit. We are hopeful. I wish the whole building was treated for the apartment instead of just where the problem becomes visible because from what we understand bedbugs are capable of traveling through walls and can live for up to a year without biting anyone. I would recommend looking for apartments in smaller buildings with a landlord who has a good understanding of the nature of a bedbug problem and doesn't tell you that you are lying when you simply have the best interests of the whole building at heart.

In oct I saw one crawling. Im deaverstated now. I called the landlord thay sent the exterminator to get rid of them. I thought that was it . Thay told me to wait 2 weeks befor unpacking and wash every thing . I washed just what I thought my family and I need and put them back in a bag we were living out of a bag. I went to use the bathroom on the 14th day and there a bedbug crawling like nothing happend.Im sick all over again i was told that I didnt Have it bad. I called for another treatment. Thay came on the 14th day again we saw another one oh no! cant get rid of them. I went on line and brought a dust, have to try that. Tempo And Motherearth D No one in the building is tell anyone about this . The landlord try to say im the only one and I brought it in my house. Out side you see for the last 6 mounths people are throwing away mattres. people donot throw away mattres like that. Help I am determin to getrid of these bastereds.
