I just (mid-August 2010) moved out of 163 Sterling Street. This is a private limestone row-house residence with 3 apartments (top floor, where I lived, main ground level floor and a basement apartment). There was a bed bug problem in the entire house which originated in the basement and ground floor apartments and spread. It is the reason I moved out of the apartment (which I had only just moved into!). The house is now up for sale. If you are considering buying this property, I urge you to have

the entire property thoroughly exterminated; to my knowledge, the current level of extermination in the ground and basement apartments has been woefully insufficient. The landlord was aware of the problem for some months but was not able to deal with it. The top floor where I lived, however, has been exterminated properly, including one additional "just to be sure" visit prior to my move to be sure I didn't take these vermin with me to my new residence.
