I moved into a 5th floor apartment of 350 Empire Blvd, Brooklyn NY, in December of 2011. I saw a nymph bug a month or so after I moved in but the super refused to treat our apartment. Our building was recently sold to a new company, owned by Sol Kopelowitz, and I was hopeful that they would be more responsive to tenants' needs. ter just 2 1/2 weeks after the second treatment. I had my office checked and no bugs were found so I am sure that the building is the source of the infestation. My neighbors also have signs of bedbugs but refuse to get any treatments done. The management company refuses to compensate me for furniture that I had to get rid of or to modify my lease to allow me to legally leave, or to return my security deposit if I move. This place is a slum!!
