A neighbor reported bed bugs some time after he first noticed them and had left his mattress in the communal hallway. His apartment was treated. We noticed suspicious bites and thoroughly treated our apartment. The landlord paid for this, and we insisted on finding our own exterminators as the company that regularly serviced the building seemed to not know what they were doing. We didn't notice anything else until about 7 months later, when we treated again. The apartment directly below ours was
