Hi everyone - I've been living here for over a year and have never had any issues with bedbugs,or regular insects for that matter. Also, the management has been really good about getting back to me with any issues (i.e., burnt out lightbulb, low water pressure, etc.), so I'm sure they'd take care of it.
Hope that helps!

not about bedbugs
Latisha, I am sorry to tell you that this address used to be a shelter for homeless men. Actually, it was a notorious shelter called Alberta House and the men were under such horrible unsanitary conditions the city actually came in and rescued them and shut the shelter down.
Unfortunately, I am sure no one knows most of the people that lived there, even the neighbors. You can try to contact various city resources like veteran's hospitals, homeless shelters, etc. to try to s
I am moving in next month and would like to know if the problem has been fixed. i'm very nervous about the whole situation. Thanks

Is this still going on as of May 2009? We\'re looking to move in here but if there are bedbugs then forget it.

You're not kidding. I have been suffering for months. The problem is that they spray one apt and then the bugs run to another, then they spray that one and they go to another. They need to spray all the units at once. And guess what, this apt building used to be a homeless shelter. The neighbors say it had so many roaches and bedbugs and lice in it...I found a syringe in my apt and the apt was filthy when I moved in. For 2 months all my furniture was in storage so it wouldn't get buggy and I was
sleeping on an air mattress. All my stuff is in plastic bins. I am embarassed to invite my friends over. My apt is the worst I think, but for months they led me to believe that it was only me and acted like I was doing something wrong that they kept infesting my apt. You do not know how much laundry I have done, over and over and over again...Now I find out that several other units have the same issue...We need to talk to each other in this building...
My apartment has bed bugs. I have talked to three neighbors, from a distance of several feet, who have said that they have had bed bugs since January and that repeated exterminator visits have not solved the problem. I have avoided my neighbors like the plague (no pun intended), but the bugs have made it over here just the same. I noticed dead bed bugs and evidence of bed bug molting as soon as I moved into the apartment, but I did not know what they were. Now I know better. I wish the land
lord had fixed the problem before renting these units out.
2009 entire building
my apt sprayed 3 times since I moved here 1 month ago
super said they have sprayed 16 times before that
drilled holes in walls, pumped with poisin gas, sprayed baseboards, nothing works
