I felt bumps and bites and went to the doctor to get his opinion on what they could be. He told me to forget about it, and that they were definitely not bed bugs. Low and behold, one day I went to fix my mattress pad that was slipping off of my bed and saw 2 larger sized beg bugs. I immediately freaked out and vacuumed them up. I emailed my landlord immediately who put me in contact with the exterminator. When I asked both of them if there has bed bugs in our apartment building before, they both

said no. However, my roommates happened to run into the girls who live above us and they had mentioned they were going through the same experience. Both the landlord and exterminator had lied to me. After washing/drying and packing everything I own into plastic bags, the exterminator came to spray. We are still waiting for him to come back the 2nd and 3rd times. I cannot wait until our lease is up so I don't have to deal with this issue and live my life out of bags. Not only is this bed bug issue harrowing, but it is also expensive.
