The landlord acted very quickly and the problem has been taken care of. For anyone looking to post on this site- if you post here, you will be inundated with exterminator advertisements.

I'm subletting this summer & working in NYC- I've never encountered bed bugs before. I started having bites a week ago (6/28/2010)I thought were mosquito bites but co-workers recognized the bites as bed bugs. I told the landlord and hopefully this will be resolved quickly. I'll keep you posted!
