After moving there in October 2009, my roommate started to discover bug bites on her body a month or so after. When reported to the landlord, the landlord adamently denied the possibility of bedbugs and blamed my roommate for bringing them in. Mind you, this apartment had carpeting and I never gotten any bites. After many weeks, we finally caught one and the landlord called an exterminator.
